R. Matthew Elliott, Esq., a seventh-generation Floridian who was born and raised in Manatee County. He earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2005. After serving as a judge advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps, Matt transitioned to federal law enforcement working for both the National Park Service and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service as a Special Agent before transitioning back to private practice.
